Today, a nice morning, my day started quite alright and normal, until...that fateful moment.........
Ben went amok. For an unknown reason, he had too much pent up anger inside him. And Ben being Ben, he lets it out in an only, best way he knows...........FIGHT!! Well, his second best way. His first would be to send things flying and or thrashing things. Anyway, let's begin with when it started....
As Dad was heading downstairs to breakfast with Mama, I signalled Ben to get ready for work. He was his usual self then, but when he entered the washroom, he just lunged at me and BANG!! He hit my head against the wall, several times. When I tried to fend him off, he got more aggressive and slapped me, then banged my head against the wall again. When I dodged and his attack unsuccessful, he pulled my already scarce-thin-and-fragile hair off its root, many painful times. Each pull, gets more intense and violent than previous. Right now, my head's still throbbing with pain and my neck, it felt like it might separate from my body anytime soon.
You must be wondering, why didn't I fight back or at least call for help? A little family history, violence runs deep in our blood. It's in dad's, it's in our late-grandmother's, then in Ben and later, me. If I had my way (as I would've done before), he would be very very sorry he picked a fight with me. He was provoking me...TRULY!! And the reason why I did not call for help is...........my parents always accused me of everything that goes wrong with Ben, even his bad moods...That's not helping isn't it? So why bother?
And by Mama's strict order, "Do NOT fight him." Therefore, I did not return the painful favour a hundred fold.
With all those fervent attacks, I was still able to get him ready. When done, he jumped onto his bed and Mama came in bearing a Panadol and water. I think he attacked the cup of water because I heard Mama calling out to me to wipe the water off the floor. I was getting dressed then, so I couldn't tell what exactly happened.
Momentary after I finish wiping the floor dry, Ben chose to hit the ceiling fan. When Mama failed to stop him, he kept hitting it, and hitting it and hitting it. I let him, my head's throbbing with pain and I was feeling a little woozy but I bear it....just like I beared all the pains that he has inflicted onto me....from when we were still kids. Mama scolded me for not trying to stop him.
Here's the funny part........Dad who doesn't know head to tail, scolded me too, "P, don't treat your brother like that-lah."
What the FUCK??!! Has he any idea what is he talking about? Me? Me? Me? Me? How did I treat Ben? How? How? How? Please clarify to me in what way did I treat Ben wrong? I gave my all to care for him, make him comfortable, treated him nice (mostly), pampering him, compliment him, play with him and etc. What has he done for his son so far, as a Father? But complain, fault me for every wrongs happening in his life, work and Ben's. For heaven's sake, Ben is my brother, not my son. He should be the one playing more responsible role of caring him than me. He should be ASHAMED!! Oh well, he has such thick skin, it is impenetrable...haha....*pun intended*
After Ben hit the ceiling fan, I tied him down until he cooled off. When he had calm, Mama ordered to change him. He tried to pretend nothing happened and being cute with me, but I would accept none of it. I will not talk to him, unless necessary, not until he realized he is sorry.
My hair, one sweep of the comb, more than a dozen dropped onto my shoulder. Two sweep, three sweep, four sweep. There must be over a hundred hairs that got buried into the ground from Ben's assault. But who cares? In my parents's eyes, Ben is ALWAYS and FOREVER will be the Bao Bei (Precious). Mama once told me, when Ben was born, Dad's business boomed. But after I was born, Mag (bio-mom) resigned from her duty (wife and mother) and Dad's business suffered losses (this part, not told by Mama). Hence, I am the BLACK SHEEP and TRASH (as Mama so fond of calling me) of the family!!
So, TRASH will suffer a TRASH's life. I have NO Place, and NO Right to lay any claim or such (so kind of Mama to remind me, time and time again. Thank you, Mama)....Hahahahahahahahahahahaha....
Long long time ago, there was once a fame blogger of this loooooooooooooooooooooooooong (phew!!) unattended blog. She was dispirited due to fighting the waves, earthquakes and tsunami called life, in her adulthood (sounding so heroic...hahahaha ) and still...ongoing? (I hope not) But she's feeling much better now, which is good news.
After a decade of absence, she is now feeling rusty and old although........................*whispers in her heart*...hahahahaha.. Anyway, she promised to try her very best to write for her once avid readers and hopefully, she hasn't lost her touch.

We have grown distant eversince.......a long long time ago. But the small gap now has grown massively. What gives? The nearer we are, the more we grew afar.
How could this be? How did this be? I want to hold on, but I am tired. I want to tell you, but I am mute. I have so many wants.......but my not wants is greater. Should I tread on or should I give up? I am tired. I want to give you up..........again....the want....but I lack courage.
My ear hears the word you say......but my heart felt and knew they are without truth.
We had some fun. We had some great times and we had some not so great ones. We enjoy each other....but I've grown to hate you more....more......more....and....more.....for making me this way.
Yes. I hate you. It is easier to hate you than otherwise.
First, I have to apologise for this message because I am extremely ANGERED by some treatment by certain someone. Therefore, this writing contains many angry words, including *F* words.
Just a FOREWARNING!

I felt the hostility when at your place. Give me a MILLION bucks to enter your place? I would not want to; save for Ben. But I have now decided, I will not enter through that door for anyone's sake.
The hostility is becoming more and more hard to bear with each passing minute when I am being treated like a prisoner; I wanna go out? NO! I wanna meet friends? NO! It is so FUCKING FUCKING ABSURD.
This I could not do, there I could not go, not without having to look at your FUCKING DISAPPROVED HOSTILE face. What's the difference of being there than my being at my own home? I'd rather the latter than to see your FUCKING HOSTILE FACE and feel your FUCKING HOSTILITY.
There cannot be a FUCKING HUMOUR at your place, everything has to be SO DAMM FUCKING SERIOUS. I am so DAMN FUCKING STRESSED just being there -- it is causing me my sleep.
You couldn't stand the sight of me and your partner putting our heads together in a discussion and or, being in the same room; you always have to ask, WHAT'S GOING ON? WHAT'S GOING ON? WHAT'S GOING ON? Then you DISPLAY your FUCKING HOSTILE FACE again. And you make FUSS with your faithful partner where I am concerned and I can hear the RIFF escaping through the door with your vocal so loud, you needn't a mike. WHAT HAVE I DONE? WHAT DID I DO to cause you such DISPLEASURE with your partner?
I am done for, I am PLEDGING not to enter your place. NO, I WILL NOT!! I will not go to your place and be treated with HOSTILITY. NO, I WILL NOT! You need me? For gad's sake, YOU NEEDN'T NEED ME, YOU HAVE YOURSELF FOR NEED.
I made a GREAT accomplishment yesterday and today. It was tedious and back-breaking, nonetheless, fruitful. :"D
Due to Chinese New Year just 28 days away and a long weekend with Awal Muharram (first day of new year in Islamic calendar) today, timing has never been more PERFECT to do thorough housekeeping. Unlike a one happy family doing housekeeping above, I'm only One-Woman-Show!! And I don't have a pet. Hehehehehehe...
I don't know what to expect when the Chinese New Year arrive. What will I do? Be doing? What's my plan? What should I plan? Should I plan at all? Will I get to execute my plan? All these questions buzzing in my head and more. Mostly, I just plan for today, you never know what may or may not happen tomorrow. Will there even be a TOMORROW for me?
PS: At least I know Ben and I won't be visiting the Yoongs (Mom's immediate family) next year – Uncle Dick and Mom are off, honeymooning somewhere.
Panasonic has posted the first firmware update for its DMC-G1 Micro Four-Thirds camera. The update is said to improve the AE Lock and MF Assist features, along with the overall performance. It also lets the user make color adjustments to the camera's LCD and EVF.
Panasonic has shown a prototype of an HD video micro Four Thirds camera. The camera, which will be part of what Panasonic is calling its Micro G sytem, was shown alongside prototypes of the lenses set out in its Micro Four Thirds lens roadmap. It features a stereo microphone and dedicated movie record button but is of similar dimensions to the already announced G1.
Panasonic has unveiled what it is calling the World’s First Full-time Live View Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera - the Lumix DMC-G1. Utilizing the Micro Four Thirds standard announced last month, the G1 drops the mirror / prism optical viewfinder that has been standard in SLR cameras for over half a century in favor of a newly developed high resolution electronic viewfinder. Squeezed into the diminutive body are a new 12MP Four Thirds Live MOS sensor with SSWF, new processor (Venus Engine HD) and a comprehensive combination of DLSR and compact camera features (though surprisingly, no movie mode).
World’s First Full-time Live View Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera Adopting New-Generation Micro Four Thirds System StandardDMC-G1 from LUMIX G Micro System
September 12,2008: Panasonic today announced the release of the DMC-G1, an exciting new digital interchangeable lens camera that is based on the new Micro Four Thirds System Standard. Combining a downsized body and advanced camera features that realize the operational comfort even as easy as that of compact cameras, the super-mobile G1 shatters the old notion that all digital SLRs are bulky, heavy and hard to use. This, plus the superior picture quality made possible by a 4/3-type image sensor, draws a clear line between the new-generation Lumix G1 and all conventional digital SLR cameras.
With the G1, Panasonic has developed an entirely new-concept digital camera that takes even greater advantage of the compactness and light weight inherent in the Four Thirds System Standard. By increasing the number of electrical contacts between camera body and lens, Panasonic has also increased camera expandability and maximized the future potential of the G1, including compatibility with future features. In addition, the versatile G1 accepts not only Micro Four Thirds System interchangeable lenses, but also conventional Four Thirds System lenses (when an optional adapter is mounted). This means that users can continue to use Four Thirds lenses they already own.
The G1 is the world's first camera to employ the new Micro Four Thirds System standard. Together with an innovative mirror-less structure that also dramatically downsizes the camera body, the LUMIX G Micro System achieves a dramatic portability and ease of use by an adoption of electronic Full-time Live View Finder instead of conventional optical viewfinder. Despite the G1's ultra-compact design, it comes fully equipped with features that assure outstanding ease of use, made possible by the contrast AF system. The G1 also boasts iA (Intelligent Auto) mode, a feature that took the world by storm in Lumix digital compact cameras. iA mode brings together a full range of functions - led by AF Tracking , Face Detection, Intelligent ISO Control and Intelligent Exposure - that together let users take strikingly beautiful photos with maximum ease every time they shoot. The G1 breaks new ground in styling too, overturning SLR camera conventions by giving users a variety of body colors to choose from. For people who have been hesitant about moving up to an SLR camera, the G1 is a perfect fit. It is a small, sophisticated, easy-to-use camera that will greatly expand any user's photographic capabilities.
The G1's Live MOS sensor gives users the benefits of Full-time Live View both when viewing the Free-Angle LCD and when looking through the viewfinder. Other new conveniences made possible by the contrast AF include 1-area-focusing, AF Tracking, and a preview functions that show the photographer how changing the shutter speed (and other settings) will affect the photograph. The large 3.0-inch free-angle LCD, with its 100% field of view and sharp 460,000-dot resolution, lets the photographer check even fine details when composing an image or viewing a shot just taken.
Behind the G1's exceptional image quality is a 4/3-type 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor that boasts a wide dynamic range and low power consumption, plus Panasonic's new Venus Engine HD imaging processor, with its superb noise reduction performance and expandability represented by HDMI output capability. Because dust entering the body is a concern with all interchangeable lens cameras, Panasonic equipped the G1 with a Supersonic Wave Filter as part of a Dust Reduction System designed to prevent dust and other foreign matter from adhering to the image sensor.
In addition to accepting Micro Four Thirds lenses, the G1 can be fitted with a mount adapter that allows the use of standard Four Thirds lenses. This greatly expands the assortment of lenses available to users. They can choose lenses from a variety of manufacturers and in a variety of combinations, for virtually unlimited photographic capabilities. A wide range of special accessories is available too. The G1 also is equipped with a mini HDMI output terminal for easy connection with other AV devices. With features like these, the G1 gives users a host of photographic and entertainment possibilities to explore.
The stylish Lumix DMC-G1 is an entirely new kind of digital camera with an unprecedented feature set. Especially for people who have never before used an interchangeable lens camera, and for those who have tried one but didn't find it comfortable, the easy-to-use G1 can open the door to a world of fun, beauty and unlimited creative possibilities.
1. Ultra compact Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera – Made Possible by the Micro Four Thirds System Standard With the G1, Panasonic introduces an innovative mirror-less structure that dramatically downsizes the camera body. The G1 is far more compact than conventional SLR camera on the market, thanks in large part to the Micro Four Thirds System, a new standard for interchangeable lens cameras. This new system has made it possible to reduce the flange back distance (between the mount and the image sensor) to approx. 20 mm – half the 40 mm specified in the Four Thirds System. The outside diameter of the mount is also reduced, by about 6 mm.
The Micro Four Thirds System makes it possible to downsize not only the camera body, but the lenses too -- particularly wide-angle lenses and high-power zoom lenses – while maintaining the superior image quality characteristic of the 4/3 image sensor. The G1's ground-breaking structural design forever dispels the notion that an interchangeable lens camera has to be big and heavy – a drawback that's deterred many people from switching to an digital SLR. Even with its generous 3.0-inch LCD, the G1 is extremely compact – and there is absolutely no compromise in function or performance.
Another attractive feature that separates the G1 from conventional digital SLR cameras is the choice of body colors. While traditionalists can choose the standard black body, others will enjoy the appealing blue and red colors available. With its exceptional mobility and features, the G1 offers a new style of photography; with its design and color selection, it offers a new sense of camera style.
2. Full-time Live View and Contrast AF With the G1 users enjoy the advantages of Full-time Live View not only when viewing the LCD, but when using the electronic viewfinder too. The G1's viewfinder system retains the outstanding viewability of an optical viewfinder and can also display information about camera settings that the user can see without taking his or her eye from the subject. This is one of the ways Full-time Live View uses digital technology to give the photographer useful new features and functions. In addition to a mirror-less structure, the G1 features a high-resolution 1,440,000-dot equivalent Live View Finder. A clever built-in eye sensor automatically switches on the viewfinder when the user looks into it, then switches it off and turns on the 3.0-inch high-resolution 460,000-dot LCD (which boasts a wide viewing angle) when the user looks away from the viewfinder. The 60-frames-per-second Live View is made possible by the Live MOS sensor, which takes signals directly from the image sensor and sends them continuously to the LCD, in real time. You can use either auto focus or manual focus while using the Full-time Live View.
Both the Live View Finder and LCD provide a 100% field of view. This allows the user, when composing a shot, to check the framing accurately from corner to corner.
The G1 introduces a new Contrast AF function that is not only accurate and easy to use, but also very fast. Users can choose from a wide range of AF modes, including multiple-area AF with up to 23 focus areas, 1-area AF with a selectable focus area, Face Detection, and AF Tracking. In the 1-area AF mode, the AF frame size can be changed by simply turning a dial. The G1 also has a Quick AF function that begins focusing as soon as the user aims the camera – no waiting for him or her to press the shutter button halfway. This provides a quicker focusing that can help capture the subject before the crucial moment passes. Continuous AF keeps the subject in focus at all times. With the G1's many auto focus modes, there's an option that's just right for any shooting situation.
3. High-resolution Live View Finder and Free-angle 3-inch 3:2 460,000-dot LCD A large, clear, easy-to-see LCD, that rotates 180º horizontally and 270º vertically is upgraded both in size and resolution to be 3.0-inch with 460,000-dot high resolution to offer even more comfortable view for both monitoring when shooting and for playing back the results. Extraordinary 3:2 aspect of the LCD on DMC-G1 is familiar to those who are used to analog film cameras. The G1 is designed for easy viewing, no matter where your photographic pursuits take you. When the lighting around you changes, the LCD changes too. The Auto Power LCD function automatically boosts brightness by as much as 40%, depending on the shooting condition. The LCD monitor remains easy to see at all times. This helps make framing a shot with Full-time Live View even easier.
The DMC-G1's Live View Finder has the large 1.4x (0.7x on 35mm equiv.) magnification and the 100% field of view as the optical viewfinders on high-end digital SLR cameras. This, plus the 1,440,000-dot equivalent resolution, makes it easy to shoot the exact image the camera sees. Surprisingly, when you look into the viewfinder, a sensor automatically turns the Live View Finder on and the LCD off. You enjoy smoother, easier shooting without having to switch the setting of display.
In addition, customize the camera to fit your shooting preference by changing the display style or switching to a full-screen display. The user enjoys a seamless 60fps Live View both on the LCD and LVF. The G1's Live View Finder, which is based on a field sequential system that uses RGB 3-independent sequential illumination to produce 180 fps for each of the three colors, gives the user a clear, natural and comfortable view when framing a shot. The LCD can swivel 180 degrees horizontally and 270 degrees vertically, giving the user the flexibility to take low-angle and high-angle shots easily and comfortably. The DMC-G1 also features the Quick Menu, so you can make a variety of settings without taking your eye from the Live View Finder.
4. Great Photography Is Not Only from Professional Photographers Anymore -- Intelligent Auto Mode When you don't know which mode will give you the best shooting results, or when a sudden photo opportunity pops up and you don't have time to make any settings, simply choose iA (Intelligent Auto) mode and let the camera do it all for you. This advanced mode includes MEGA O.I.S. to detect hand-shake, Intelligent ISO Control to detect subject movement, Face Detection to detect faces in the frame, Intelligent Scene Selector to detect scene conditions, Light Detection to detect the brightness level, and AF Tracking to continually track a moving subject and keep it in focus. These six functions work automatically and simultaneously in iA Mode to optimize your settings, making it easier than ever to take beautiful photos every time.
Shake Detection – MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) MEGA O.I.S., implemented in the lens, compensates for the blurring caused by hand-shake. Even slight hand-shake movement is accurately detected by a sampling frequency of 4,000 times per second, and compensated to produce sharp, clear images. It also works for zoom shots and macro shots, which are especially susceptible to hand-shake, and lets you shoot in dimly lit rooms or evening illumination, without a flash, to preserve the mood.
Motion Detection – Intelligent ISO Control The Intelligent ISO Control function detects subject movement and automatically adjusts the ISO setting and shutter speed to best suit the movement and light conditions. When it detects subject motion, it automatically raises the ISO setting and increases the shutter speed to prevent motion blur. On the other hand, when the subject is still and no movement is detected, it takes beautifully natural photos with a low ISO setting. Intelligent ISO Control gives you stunning images with ease because there is no need for complicated settings.
Light Detection – Intelligent Exposure The Intelligent Exposure function increases the exposure only in under-exposed areas by detecting the brightness level part-by-part in the picture. If the background includes the sky, which tends to be easily washed out, the camera automatically adjusts the aperture and shutter speed to keep the setting slightly under-exposed to prevent wash-out while brightening the darkened area by increasing the ISO only in that area. If the background of an indoor portrait receives insufficient lighting from a flash and becomes dark, the ISO sensitivity is raised in only the low-lit area to make it brighter without causing graininess in the subject's face. When Intelligent Exposure is turned on, the icon changes from white to yellow. In addition, you can adjust the effect in three levels in normal shooting mode— high, normal, and low.
Face Detection – Face Detection AF/AE The Face Detection function detects faces and automatically optimizes the focus and exposure settings. It prevents the blurry faces that happen when the camera focuses on something in front of or behind the subject, and keeps faces from appearing dark when shooting indoors or against the light source. It detects up to 15 faces at a time, making it extremely convenient for group photos. Once the camera detects a face, Face Tracking follows it even when the subject moves around. This makes it easy to capture the person's face quickly if he or she is moving. It is also equipped with Digital Red-eye Correction. The camera takes care of the red-eye effect that often happens when shooting with a flash, to ensure attractive facial expression always.
Scene Detection - Intelligent Scene Selector When the camera's in iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode, the Intelligent Scene Selector automatically sets the Scene Mode to either Scenery, Portrait, Close-up, Night Portrait or Night Scenery. The camera judges it from the various detection results such as focusing distance, inclusion of human face and brightness level of the circumstance. You are free from annoying settings every time scene changes when taking pictures with these most frequently used Scene Modes to get beautiful results even before you know it.
Subject Detection – AF Tracking Simply focus on your subject, then press the shutter button to activate AF Tracking. Even when you remove your finger from the shutter button, the camera continues to automatically keep your moving subject in focus. This keeps the focus sharp and blur-free when shooting active children or pets, as well as when capturing sports scenes or subjects in a moving object. It minimizes the shutter time lag so you won't miss those spur-of-the-moment shots, and helps to give you truly beautiful photos always.
The user can activate all of these useful, convenient shooting-assist functions by simply selecting iA mode. This makes the DMC-G1 the ultimate, super-versatile automatic camera for capturing clear, beautiful, mistake-free photos with ease despite its high quality image rendering capability as a system camera.
5. A Host of Creative Options My Color Mode is a special option that gives free rein to the user's creativity. In My Color mode you can freely adjust the color, brightness and saturation parameters, while checking the Full-time Live View image to see how those adjustments affect the picture. This makes it easier and more fun to create interesting, expressive images. Adjust the settings that best suit the shooting conditions and your expressive intent, and then enjoy your own photography.
Furthermore, the DMC-G1 provides options of picture taste with the function called Film Mode. Each analog film has its characteristics such as with color, contrast, gradation and which affects on the outcome of the picture, in other words, it is one of the ways of expression. With the DMC-G1, the Film Mode allows you to choose the one that takes the best advantage of the scene or the subject you take out of a total of nine film modes including Standard, Dynamic, Nature, Smooth, Nostalgic, Vibrant, Standard B/W, Dynamic B/W and Smooth B/W, with capability of fine adjustment of contrast, sharpness, saturation and noise reduction. Users can also shoot the same scene in 3 different films using the new Multi Film mode. All these settings can be confirmed before you take the picture and the result is always as you intended.
The Full-time Live View lets the users check the outcome image in advance after adjusting the shutter speed, aperture or white balance. The white balance can be adjusted in the area of two-axis of coordinates precisely. And also the white balance bracket in 3 pictures either along with A(amber)-B(Blue) axis or G(Green)-M(Magenta) axis is now available for G1.
6. High Image Quality as an Interchangeable Lens System Camera The 4/3-type 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor featured in the DMC-G1 offers the best of both worlds – the superior image quality of a CCD sensor, and the lower power consumption of a CMOS sensor. New technology that makes it possible to read 4 channels of data simultaneously also helps the G1 deliver 60 frames-per-second Full-time Live View images, while faithfully reproducing high-resolution images with fine detail and rich gradation.
For the image processing LSI, the new Venus Engine HD features exceptionally advanced signal processing capabilities. This sophisticated LSI separates chromatic noise from luminance noise and applies the optimal noise reduction to each, so you capture clear and beautiful images even when shooting at high ISO sensitivity levels. The Venus Engine HD also provides independent gradation control for each of the R, G and B colors, so even delicate color nuances are reproduced faithfully. Linking smoothly with the Live MOS sensor, the Venus Engine HD records stunning high-resolution 12-megapixel images with exceptional accuracy. Signals containing a large amount of image data are sent from the Live MOS sensor to the high-resolution Live View Finder, resulting in the 1.44 million-dot equivalent sharp clear images at 60 fps. The Venus Engine HD also supports an extensive range of functions, including HDMI output.
If dust or other foreign matter gets inside the camera when you're changing lenses, it could cling to the image sensor and show up as a spot in your photos. The Dust Reduction System in the LUMIX DMC-G1 helps eliminate this possibility by placing a supersonic wave filter in front of the Live MOS sensor. Vibrating around 50,000 times per second, the filter repels dust and other particles.
7. Superb Expandability for More Fun The DMC-G1 and LUMIX G Micro System is compatible with any interchangeable lens that complies with the Four Thirds Standard.* This gives you access to the entire range of Four Thirds lenses. And a stream of new Micro Four Thirds lenses will be announced in the future, giving you a large, diverse line of high-performance lenses to add to your photographic toolbox. With the LUMIX G Micro System and the growing assortment of lenses becoming available, your expressive possibilities are unlimited. The DMC-G1 is a system camera with a wide variety of options to choose from to match your shooting situations and style.
8. High-Definition Networking The G1 has an HDMI output terminal. When the G1 is connected to an HDMI-compatible TV via an HDMI mini cable (purchased separately), the user can easily enjoy a slideshow of photos taken with the G1. When the G1 is connected to a VIERA TV that has VIERA Link capability, the TV's remote control unit can be used to run the slideshow.
9. Other Convenient Features When using the G1 in manual focus mode, the frame will automatically enlarge by around 5x or 10x(magnification can be altered by the front dial) for easy viewing in the Live View Finder or high-resolution LCD with Manual Assist function. This lets the user frame the shot with greater ease and accuracy. The movable guide lines make it easy to check the horizontal and vertical positioning of the subject and scene, no matter how the shot is being composed.
The Quick Menu has further evolved as an interface in the G1. The newly enhanced menu screen makes it easier to use the G1's advanced functions, while simply rotating the turn-and-push device (front dial) lets the user select and enter settings with a single finger, without having to look away from the viewfinder. Most settings can be made in this way. The new My Menu tab automatically stores the five most recently used menu items, for quick, easy retrieval. The custom setting function can also be used to register a shortcut for a frequently used function; the function can then be activated by pressing the Down button of the cursor key. The color of the LCD information display screen can be changed in three colors. These features make the G1 easier to operate while also giving the user a way to customize his or her camera.
The LUMIX G Micro System will change the way you see – and enjoy – the digital interchangeable lens camera. It does so with a collection of features that put enormous photographic power in a palm-sized camera with interchangeable lens. The LUMIX G Micro System is a camera you’ll love from day one – giving you the freedom to express yourself, and changing the role that photography plays in your life. Lumix G Micro System
A New Generation Digital Interchangeable Lens Camera
Panasonic is pleased to announce a brand-new digital interchangeable lens camera system – the LUMIX G Micro System. It is based on the new Micro Four Thirds System standard that greatly reduces camera size and weight to further enhance the inherent advantages of the original Four ThirdsTM System standard for digital interchangeable lens cameras.
The world market for digital interchangeable lens cameras continues to grow at a steady pace, yet there is a widespread notion that digital SLR cameras are large, heavy and hard to use resulting in a preference for compact cameras. Panasonic has now made it possible to develop digital interchangeable lens camera that comply with the new Micro Four Thirds System standard and feature greater compactness and lighter weight, based on a concept of further extending the possibilities of the Four Thirds System standard. The new Micro Four Thirds System products will join today's Four Thirds System products to provide customers with even higher levels of performance in a digital interchangeable lens camera.
The features that clearly set the Micro Four Thirds System standard apart from the Four Thirds System standard: approx. 50% shorter flange back distance (mount-to-sensor distance), approx. 6mm smaller lens mount outer diameter and electrical contacts in mount increased from 9 to 11.* In essence, not only the camera unit but also the Micro Four Thirds lenses are smaller, and this is particularly true for the wide-angle and high-power zoom lenses. The number of electrical contacts between the lens and the camera body is also increased in the new Micro Four Thirds System, to allow a variety of new features and system functions in future models. The Micro Four Thirds System will also allow users to continue using their present Four Thirds System lenses on Micro Four Thirds System bodies by adding a mount adapter. Together with an innovative mirror-less structure that also dramatically downsizes the camera body, the LUMIX G Micro System achieves a dramatic portability and ease of use by an adoption of electronic Full-time Live View Finder instead of conventional optical viewfinder.
Combining superb image quality and unprecedented mobility, LUMIX G Micro System will change the way you see the world around you, and the role that photography plays in your life. HO!! HO!! HO!! It's CHRISTMAS day today and though Ben was DROWSY with sleep, which is usual – he needs his morning nap but kept himself awake for an outing, *psssttt pssssttt* he's afraid we might go without him...Anyone could tell, he was looking forward to it cuz he woke up very early today.
Breakfast; Mama and I brought him out to the Chinese coffee shop (next to Guardian, TTDI), sat there to enjoy a pork noodle. This chap has not had such INDULGENCE of sitting there for breakfast in decade, especially not on our usual Sundays or Public Holidays where Mama has to replenish our groceries from TTDI market. So, he really enjoy it and can't stop BROAD SMILING!! Hahahahahahahaha...After the noodle, Mama took him to the kuih stall to let him have his pick of choice – he picked ang ku kuih. OOoooooOOooo!! You should see his SMUG looking face then, very SMUG-ah!!...hahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Went home, Pa ate his breakfast and Ben, his ang ku, bath, then WALLA!! He's already waiting door...hahahahahahahahahahaha...
We window shopped a lot, sometimes Mama and Pa wanted to see something that does not interest me nor Ben – we both browse somewhere else, every now and then he would stop by a chair to rest his feet...hahahahahahahahahahaha...he's such a LAZY BUM and can't ENDURE long WALK!!
My heart breaks at the sight of Mama walking in her sandal. Ish ish ish ish...for a day long walk, her feet will HOWL for pity, therefore I decided to hunt for a casual sport shoe for better comfort. She's so pickylah...hahahahahahahahaha...then there's problem with Ben walking in and out of the shoe store because he's impatient and could not sit still for longer than 3 minutes. So getting a shoe for Mama is kinda problematic...hahahahahahahahahahahah...somehow, I managed to buy her one, at 50% discount...no doubt, great bargain!! Hahahahahahaahahahaha...aiya, I'm very stingy onelah...hahahahahahahahahaha...but then, Mama complain thislah, thatlah, eeeeyoooooo...so hard to satisfy onelah...hahahahahahahahahahahaa...after many explanation, coaxing, convincing, etc., she's finally ok with my choice and so, I hope to see her wear the shoe on her next window shop-around.
Somehow, somewhere, during shoe shop, Ben robbed some poor soul's balloon to play...how did I missed him in action I wonder??!! Then, I took lots of snappy pictures of him (below). ;"p
Mama looking good in her new shoe.
OKAY!! Time's up for lunch, Ben wants KFC but Mama said NO – human sandwich, so we opt for Chicken Rice Shop – his second favourite. We walked somemore after that, drank Mm (5) Fa Cha at Koong Woh Tong (Ben didn't want) – the drink is sweet and a little watery. Huhuuuuuuuu!! We reached home at almost 4pm. It is a GREAT BREAKTHROUGH for Ben!!! APPLAUSE for Ben please!!! APPLAUSE!! APPLAUSE!!
Oh my!! Did I tell you I saw Lumix's brand new G1 DSLR? By GAWD!! It looks YUMMY!! But it is not yet available anywhere in 1Utama – saw it in a casing display. Hope to peek it later this Saturday in Sungei Wang? :"X Meanwhile, I'll just DROOL over it online...hahahahahahahahahahahaha...Heard it's gonna retail at RM2999? WOW!! Hope it's WORTH it...
Alright, I'm gonna go down and eat my dinner – Maggi instant noodle, then wash up the car – it is so FILTHY and IRRECOGNIZABLE!! Kakakakakakakakakaka...
Ben hates to eat CAKE -- any cake of any flavour or any design. Sunday, Mom bought him an ugly white cake for his birthday which falls on the following day, Monday; 22 Dec. He wouldn't even peek at the cake when we brought it home (our HOME) that afternoon, eventhough Mama told him that it's delicious and all.
Monday, we had his cake for breakfast and coaxed him to eat but he didn't want, not a sniff nor a peek and taste. So we let him be.
Tuesday, he cried "HUNGER", so Mama coaxed him to eat the cake, he pushed Mama to take it away, but Mama forced him to take a small bite, then Ben laughed lustily...hahahahahahahahahahaha... probably he didn't think the cake could taste so good and light.
Well, from our observation, the reason for his lack of interest in any cakes could due to its milky cream -- white, black, brown or red colour - depending on flavour. Anyway, Ben finally had a taste of his own ugly white cake and fell in love with it...hahahahahahahahahahahahaha...
Here, I would like to introduce the cake Mom bought for Ben -- Miki Ojisan No Mise (specialty: cheese cake). For someone who has LACTOSE INTOLERANT like me, Miki's the best because you'll have no problem after consuming, unlike most cakes from other cakehouses, even famous ones like Secret Recipe, La Manila or Angel's. Then again, Miki's cakes are light and does not weigh your stomach (you know, some cheese cakes are really heavy for the stomach and dulls your appetite).

Remember Jim Carey's Lemony Snicket? Here's just the situation. Nothing WORST can happen than when you're BROKE and your machine is DEAD, read on.
Herkules (not Hercules), a 15 years old film output machine by Heidelberg, Germany was no longer produce and its spare parts, obsolete. Duly technological advancement and almost everyone turns to CTP (Computer To Plate or Computer To Print) technology – that does not require film, this T-Rex is considered SOLD. Though Herkules is OLD, but it look brand new and work just as fine, until recently...
1st time BUSTED: July 23 2008 - Floppy Drive Conked.
We found a similar refurbish spare part (FD1138H) online, located in USA. Uncle Dick, who was then there for his summer holiday and has one week before returning to Malaysia, was SOSed immediately, geared with shots of the floppy drive, model info and the website that sold it. There were only two in-store so he grabbed both for RM250 only.
Three days later, upon his 9:30 a.m. arrival at his condo, I went to collect and make payment for. First, I was infuriated before arriving – Uncle Dick knew and was informed of our meeting after 10:30 a.m. – so he'd have time to settle down, but I was rapped by Mom 'cause they're both hitting out for a 11:00 a.m. date, which I was not CLUED in.
Secondly, I was even more HEATED when the bought product was not as expected; eventhough shots were e-mailed as sample -- no jumper and power head. We later learnt from our technician, Zulfri, that though they're the same model and manufacturer, its part number (P/N) is not (note picture comparisons). Well, what could we say? The product enlisted on the website did not state its part number, only model, and picture was not posted but descriptions.
Anyway, after going back and forth with getting this repair by first, a Kashmirian, Mr But of 1st Floor Imbi Plaza. I trusted he could do the job but Pa refuse to let him or better said, disbelief cuz he charges RM250. Meanwhile Pa found a greenhorn at Ground Floor Imbi Plaza, a Malay, promised he could fixed it for RM20 only. Pa and I had a row cuz he wanted to let the greenhorn do the job and I would not let him -- inexperienced and do not know one thing from another. Well, I let Pa decides, else our argument would go on and on and on and on...never-ending.
One day gone, no news from the greenhorn, so Pa contacted him, "No, the floppy drive is not yet fixed."
Second day, "I'm sorry Mr. Wee, I could not fixed your floppy drive. We found an exact model in Singapore and has called my friend to get it for me. He'll comeby Saturday so if you could wait till then. It is RM450 only. We need a deposit." So Pa paid him.
Third, fourth, fifth day -- no news. Saturday finally came, "I'm sorry Mr. Wee my friend finally seen the floppy drive and said it is a diferent model, he tried searching but could not find its similar." I was fuming but kept it checked. #%^&*&^$@!#%^ He wasted one week of our time and getting NOTHING done. And he's not in his shop when we went there to get our deposit REFUND, we went back on Monday. I mistrust him at first sight but Pa... *sigh*
Then Pa sent me back to the Kashmirian, Mr. But, he being a nice and polite guy accepted my apology and even told me that the greenhorn approached him to fix the floppy drive. He knew the drive belongs to us therefore he did not accept to repair. By now, he raised his repair fee to RM550, but I managed to bargain at RM500 only. When one headache's gone, he created another headache for us -- changing the whole board without telling us and later feed us a RM750 bill. We were shock speechless, though it could be use on a PC, it's configuration is no longer compatible with Herkules...aaaaAAAaaaRRRrrrrrrrggggagGGGggghhhhHHHHH!!!
Meanwhile, we tried getting the drive directly from Heidelberg and costs about RM450 (incl. courier fee). In order to get the company's warranty, we engaged its technician to fix and tried -- not compatible. Eventhough we ordered a sets of new cable (RM759.90) -- not compatible. So we got refunded within a month.
Though the day unseemingly gloomy, another technician, Bob (Bohari) had bought a Herkules -- second-handed, dismantle the floppy drive and loan it to us. PHEW!!
2nd time BUSTED: August 22 2008 - Unstable Power Supply Box Happened at exactly one month after. An ERROR message appears on Herkules' display, indicating power supply error. Actual voltage capacity is 28V (note picture above). When inspected by Bob, the voltage has dropped -- 15, 17, 20, 12Volt only. Pa insist he rapair it but he said, he does not know how therefore has to go to a electrician to repair. Bob warned that it is time consuming and its charges may be very expensive. Pa then wanted to buy a new one but may cost RM13,000, says Bob. Mama recalled he had a second-hand Herkules, so they coaxed him to loan us again.
Well, Bob did not loan us, but sold it for RM3,000 only (after bargain).
One SIMPLE and HARMLESS subject that RAISED HUGE VENOM and WRATH!!!
BOWLING
QUESTION: 1. What happens when a trapped WILD animal can't attack others? It becomes cagey and find ways to get out, even if it means hurting itself.
2. What happens when you can't bowl the BOWL? You BOWL yourself.
Here's a SAMPLE, my hands suffered little, just scrapes and skin peelings, bruises on elbow, few BUNGALOWs on back of my head, this is the WORST!! (picture below)
BOWLED myself against the wall -- bruises and aches on my leg.
I did say, "I felt like SMASHING something," and "I have too much PENT up energy."
It's that time of the year again, XMASSSSSSSSS!!! Oh, I LOVE festivity, especially one that I can PARTY in!! Hahahahahahahaahahha...well, who doesn't, right? So hear me out NOW!!

Activity: 1. FUN 2. FOOD 3. GAMES 4. GIFT XCHANGE (I LOVE GiFTS!!! Hahahahahahahaha....)
Oh, about GIFTS. Remember to bring one of NO less than RM15 only, ONE gift PER person, it's that SIMPLE!!
So, looking forward to see you all and hope to hear from you soon!! ;")
HOHOHO is just 3 weeks and 1 day away. Have you planned the perfect PRESENT for the gang and that special someone? Still pondering, looking and searching? Well, here's a list of not-so-ordinary gifts for those who have everything already. I am sure these gifts will be remembered, some for a really long time. ;")
1. Wireless ButtKicker This is for that person who really wants a rich home theater experience. ButtKickers are massive transducers that physically move what you are sitting on, adding that extra bit of reality to video game and movie explosions. This also has the added benefit of scaring the crap out of the pets that are in the room with you. The ButtKickers are wireless and connect to your sound system to supercharge your subwoofer and, well, kick your butt at appropriate moments. Price: About USD400 (RM1455) at Amazon.
2. E-Holster Gadget Shoulder Holster While you may want to be careful wearing this into a security line at the airport, e-Holster makes a line of shoulder holsters for gadgets. Its latest product allows you to put most of the stuff that has taken up residence in your pants pockets under your arm where only security guards will likely take notice. It is much manlier than any of the purse-like bags that have unsuccessfully been sold to men so far. It is actually very useful and gives the wearer a kind of a geeky James Bond feel. It costs about USD70 (RM254.60).
3. Peak Handcrafted Professional Quality Starpex Guitar Hero/Rock Band guitar Guitar Hero is a ball to play, but you generally feel like a dork with the little plastic guitar that is typically used in the game. This USD180 (RM654.77) guitar has the look and feel of a real electric guitar and if people aren't looking closely, it looks like you are really playing. Half the fun of pretending in a game like this is feeling real and a guitar like this helps the realism significantly. There is nothing like a realistic fake guitar to get the blood moving and the folks competing for the high score. Though, at USD180, if you break this puppy it is going to hurt so you may want to hide it from little Johnny.
4. Blackline GPS Snitch While this isn't cheap at around USD400 (RM1455), this is a small GPS device you can toss into someone's car or purse and use it to keep track of where they go during the day from the Snitch website. Wonder if little Mickey is coming straight home from school or not? Well, pop one of these into his bag or car and know for sure. Or if you simply want to find out where some folks are going for lunch so you can join or stalk them, this device is for you. This definitely has a James Bond flavour to it.
5. Kitty Litter Robot It really works unless you have a monster 20 lb cat. It is a rotating pod and it contains that wonderful smell that is certain to not increase the value of your home. In addition, it is kind of fun to watch as the pod rotates on a vertical axes to shift your cat’s gifts into the toxic dump that is its base. To clean, you just open all the windows, put on a hazmat suit, open the drawer and replace the liner. I'm kidding about the hazmat suit, but, depending on what you feed your cats, that drawer opening thing can be really special. I should point out the web site has to be one of the ugliest I've ever seen and I've seen some bad ones. The product is strange, but works rather well. It's around USD300 (RM1091.30).
6. Tactical Alert Muffs with Tactical Amplifier and Radio While designed for hunters or sports shooters, these ear muffs both protect against ear damaging sound and amplify the sounds around you. Kind of like having Superman hearing with a built in AM/FM radio you can use to listen to the TV while at the Gym or hook them up to your iPod (with optional cable) while riding around and still hear that Mac truck driving up behind you. It could actually save a life and they look impressive and probably will strengthen your neck as well. Around USD120 (RM436.50).
7. E+ Electric Bicycle This is far from cheap -- running between $3500 (RM12731.60) and $4300 (RM15641.70) delivered -- but it looks like a regular bicycle and has a top speed of between 20 and 30 mph, depending on configuration, and a range of more than 10 miles depending on how much you actually peddle the thing. Based on advanced military technology, this puppy does regenerative breaking and assures you can pass the best bicycle rider in the world while still talking on your cell phone. While not cheap it is green, and if you do peddle, it is actually good for you.
8. EyeClops Night Vision Infrared Stealth Goggles If you ever wanted to look like a Borg and see in the dark for cheap, these are for you. At around USD70 (RM254.60) they won't break the bank like most high end night vision goggles and they really look like you've already been assimilated once you put them on. They use a central infrared light source, which is what gives the device that Cyclops-borg-look.
9. Rayguns Originals Manmelter 3600ZX Sub-Atomic Disinterator Pistol Ah, if only this were real. at around USD620 (RM2255.30), these pistols aren't cheap, but if you've ever wanted a real looking Flash Gordon type ray gun, this is for you. They are signed, numbered and actually come with a realistic case and cleaning kit.
10. Steampunk Keyboard Because these are custom made, it probably is too late to get one of these now, but keep it in mind for next year. At $1200 (RM4365.10) the keyboards are expensive, but if you want real craftsmanship and have a yearning to see what a computer keyboard might have looked like if it was built in the 1920s, this is an incredibly cool gift and it is built to last a lifetime. It is worth going to this site and just wondering around. This guy just does fabulous work.
